She's not just a role model for women.............she is a role model for all Masters swimmers. Go Dara!!!
Damn, she's a role model for us guys, as well. Perhaps because she's almost exactly my age (I'm 15 days older), she motivates this guy as well.

Dara and Lance. Don't they have the same "consultants"?
Oh give it a bloody rest. Unless you are in a position to have concrete proof that anything against the rules occurred, please take a cup of STFU and :anim_coffee: it down.

Go Dara!! You're an inspiration to all of us 40-something female swimmers out here!!
:cheerleader: And even though I'm not yet 40 she's still an inspiration :cheerleader:
So does this mean that someone like me still has a chance? ;-)
My friends are trying to convince me that if I had all the money for trainers, etc., that I could do it. Somehow I don't think so...
But I could probably swim a lot faster than I am swimming!
So does this mean that someone like me still has a chance? ;-)
What it means to me is that if Dara at 43 can compete with the 20 year olds on her (world class) level, I can compete with the 18 year olds at my (summer league) level.
