If each us was able to devote every day to training (including workouts, technique, nutrition, supplements, massage, psychology, stretching, and recovery), didn't have to work or worry about money, had full-time child-care, plus had our own personal swim coaches, massage therapists and nutritionists on hand daily, I would wager many of us could match or beat our college-year times.
Don't get me wrong ... Dara is uber-talented with a huge work ethic. I love watching her swim and am pulling for her. But there's a lot more to this story than the age-is-just-a-number slogan.
