How many *different* goggles do you use?

Goggles are hard to find that fit one's face. It will be interesting to know how many different goggles one uses. Maybe some are for lap swim, some are for open water, some are for race? Some people do seem to have a lot of goggles, from the "what is in your swim bag" thread, and I wonder if all those goggles are the same or different?

  • I have several pairs of TYR Femme Petite (plain colored, metalized colored, and clear) for meets and some practicing. I have started wearing an Aqua Sphere Vista swim mask for early morning practice. I got tired of having rings around my eyes till after lunch. I'm in my 50's and the facial skin just doesn't bounce back as quick as it used to. I have a clear pair and a tinted pair for outdoor swimming. They are ssweet! The Aquasphere Kayenne Lady goggles are good for that, as well. They don't leave marks the way the TYR Femme Petite goggles do. I took your advice and bought the TYR goggles for meets (and they are perfect for that purpose), but they become quite uncomfortable during long practice swims. The Aquasphere Kayenne's are much softer and have a molded nosepiece. The visibility is also much better and they adjust very quickly and easily, without having to take them off. They are not cheap (only $1 cheaper than my new Speedo), but they were well worth the price! :applaud: www.swimoutlet.com/.../17687.htm
