Is it my imagination or is less and less appearing on the usms calendar of pool meets? When I go into the various LMSC or team websites, I see much more but it's time-consuming.
Maybe LMSC's are waiting 'til after convention to get things on.
I would think the clubs and regions may not be informing USMS.
Well - so much for sanctioned meets?
That begs to question - if a meet is sanctioned - is it automagically added to the calendar?
Is it possible that the - Left Foot does not tell the Right Foot? May be the person who edits the Calender may give us an answer???

Geochuck is exactly right. We rely on our 52 LMSCs to populate the USMS Calendar of Events.
Each LMSC has a sanctions officer who grants sanctions for the events held in that LMSC. In a perfect world, each time a sanctions officer issues a sanction, he or she would submit that event's information to the USMS Calendar of Events.
There is a task force that is currently working on a more unified sanctioning process. One of the first steps of this process would be to auto-populate the USMS Calendar of Events with the information from the sanction application.
In the meantime, anyone can submit an event to be added to our calendar. If you know of upcoming events that are not in the calendar, please submit them!

So on the form there is NO place to indicate that it should be listed on the calender! If a check box were offered, would it help in adding it to the calender?
