Extra marital affairs in masters swimming have happened and will continue to happen. When two people share a common interest and spend time together, bonding takes place and sometimes emotional and physical affairs result. There's plenty of opportunity around training and even more at meets & conventions.
Sometimes these affairs are just one night drunken flings. Sometimes they are long term.

I couldn't possibly imagine fitting something like that into my schedule, or even allowing it to happen knowing the result.
Wait... USMS posts the results on a result page somewhere? Are they posted the next morning or well after the meet? How reliable are they? ;)
