Reckon this may have something to do with television rights? Similar situation @ US Nationals when they broadcasted Days 1 & 2 live on Universal Sports TV (owned by NBC, I believe) during the week, but then nothing on the telly until the NBC recap broadcasts over the weekend (they did televise Day 3 & 4 on Universal the following week).
Yes the evening finals on Thursday and Friday are televised live on the Universal Sports cable channel. Many cable carriers have it. Some may have it but not realize it. I definitely prefer this to the NBC packaged and recorded coverage.
btw I still haven't found a final or even updated/revised psych sheet other than the draft version released on 12 August...which has Steph Rice swimming both IMs, Phelps doing the 100 free, Chloe Sutton on the 1500, & Jessica Hardy the 100 ***...
Hardy will almost definitely swim the 100 ***. If she drops a race that session it would likely be the 100 free.
