Is there something wrong with Thursday and Friday that there is no coverage? US has been great about covering every day of national meets so this really seems strange. Seriously, Phelps is swimming the 400 IM on Thursday after saying 'never again' that right there should rate some coverageReckon this may have something to do with television rights? Similar situation @ US Nationals when they broadcasted Days 1 & 2 live on Universal Sports TV (owned by NBC, I believe) during the week, but then nothing on the telly until the NBC recap broadcasts over the weekend (they did televise Day 3 & 4 on Universal the following week). The two NBC "re-air" segments will at least be in HD for those who can view it (i.e. mostly American audiences)...but betcha they won't show all the A finals, almost never B finals, tend to ignore the middle parts of the distance races (i.e. show adverts in the middle of the 1500 or on occasion even the 800 free!), focus on Phelps or other superstars that the non-swimming community are more familiar with (understandably so...I guess), and worst of all, it isn't LIVE :badday: Well at least swimnetwork will as usual have full streaming live coverage of both prelims and finals, though as was noted this doesn't help those who can't easily access the web @ work. For more details, check out ande's informative thread here: 2010 mutual of omaha pan pacific championships - U.S. Masters Swimming Discussion Forums btw I still haven't found a final or even updated/revised psych sheet other than the draft version released on 12 August...which has Steph Rice swimming both IMs, Phelps doing the 100 free, Chloe Sutton on the 1500, & Jessica Hardy the 100 ***... The official site @ www.panpacificswimming.com/ doesn't even have the team rosters for either Australia or the States, and this an hour before the heats are presently due to begin! Anyway, for start lists and results/rankings (the link is for all events, you can sort it by day as well): www.omegatiming.com/.../index_by_events.htm Some interesting predictions: http://swimdr549.blogspot.com/
