Hey folks,
I had a car accident yesterday afternoon. Rear-ended while stopped at a traffic light. Car is messed up, but more important, my neck is killing me. I went to the Dr. right away, who also happens to be on my swim team. She said no swimming today, and honestly, I don't feel like doing anything anyway.
Any experience with this or how long I should wait? There must be someone on here who's been through this!

I have no experience with whiplash either but I've heard it can cause some strange symptoms and last longer than you might think it would. I would try to find a physician with lots of trauma experience.
I like Chicken's idea of swimming with a snorkel. At least you could have a neutral neck posititon.
