This is a 10 mile swim through the mountain area of southeast tn. This will be the first year for this swim.
The leaves will be changing color, during Oct, so this will be a great time to be in this part of the country(plus no humidity)

Um, Tennessee River? Because as a first-year event, it won't be overrun? (But yes, we need a real calendar of OW events.)

OTOH, I play banjo! Foggy Mountain Breakdown! Any good bluegrass events down by you that weekend? :) Maybe I could ride shotgun!
Will there be bears?
I will see if there are any bluegrass events that weekend. As for bears, don't worry about em. The natives will again take care of any baer sigthin.
