You KNOW you're hooked on swimming when...

1. You open the door to the pool and get that first whiff of chlorine and think to yourself, "I love the smell of chlorine in the morning!" 2. Your new issue of Swimmer Magazine arrives :bliss: and you immediately sit down and read it cover to cover (including the ads!). But, then, the realization sets in that now you have to wait two months until the NEXT issue arrives. 3. You find yourself counting strokes instead of sheep to fall asleep at night. Then, just when you're about to fall asleep, instead of your leg twitching a little bit, it does a full whip kick :afraid:, and you ride the glide to slumberland... :bed: Now it's your turn...

  • Those were good ones, Swim! :applaud: I will add another one, since I started this thread ( :D ): ...you keep breaking through barriers you thought your (operated on) shoulder could never handle: 5,400 yd double, followed by 23 military push ups in one minute, during a 2 hour gym session, the following day. :bliss:And, the best part? No pain! ...you plan a European river cruise for after Nationals, because you can't stand the thought of missing out on the fun, even though you will probably come in close to last in your age group. ...the first things you think about bringing on your river cruise is your suit, cap, and goggles, just in case you can find a pool along the way. And, if not? Your stretch cords, so you can "swim" out on deck, as the boat cruises down the Rhine.
