1. You open the door to the pool and get that first whiff of chlorine and think to yourself, "I love the smell of chlorine in the morning!"
2. Your new issue of Swimmer Magazine arrives :bliss: and you immediately sit down and read it cover to cover (including the ads!). But, then, the realization sets in that now you have to wait two months until the NEXT issue arrives.
3. You find yourself counting strokes instead of sheep to fall asleep at night. Then, just when you're about to fall asleep, instead of your leg twitching a little bit, it does a full whip kick :afraid:, and you ride the glide to slumberland... :bed:
Now it's your turn...
My deodorant wore off the other day, and instead of BO, I just smelled like chlorine.
:lmao: That reminds me... I usually swim in a saline pool. So, I normally don't smell like chlorine, unless I go to a swim meet or a monthly coaching session. I went for a session yesterday and showered after, like always, but the chlorine smell remained on my skin. When I woke up in the middle of the night thinking it was morning and, oh GOOD, I get to go swimming(!!!), I had been sleeping on my side with my hands up by my face. The first thing I smelled when I woke up was chlorine. No wonder it triggered my swimming thoughts! :bliss:
(It's a good thing my hands don't smell like chocolate or I would never be able to put the stuff down! :afraid: )
