1. You open the door to the pool and get that first whiff of chlorine and think to yourself, "I love the smell of chlorine in the morning!"
2. Your new issue of Swimmer Magazine arrives :bliss: and you immediately sit down and read it cover to cover (including the ads!). But, then, the realization sets in that now you have to wait two months until the NEXT issue arrives.
3. You find yourself counting strokes instead of sheep to fall asleep at night. Then, just when you're about to fall asleep, instead of your leg twitching a little bit, it does a full whip kick :afraid:, and you ride the glide to slumberland... :bed:
Now it's your turn...
...You're signed up for SCY Nationals and SwimFest, and you immediately answered the call by your LMSC for relays for LCM Nationals- and signed up for all four. And, you have had your hotel rooms booked for both Nationals since last fall. :D
...You would rather watch swim videos and live streaming of swim meets than anything on TV.
...You haven't bought a new pair of shoes in more than a year (and couldn't care less) and rarely go clothes shopping, but you're :ohyeah:about your new sapphire blue swim parka, complete with the USMS logo sewn on the back. (You can order yours at All American Swim Supply. I got the first one ever made with the logo and Don came through as promised; it looks GREAT!)
...You're exhausted from a couple of nights in a row of thunder storms and lost sleep, so you plan on doing a "recovery" swim after your weekend swim meet. But, you get to the pool, dive in and the water is 80 degrees instead of 85, due to the water heater going down in the weekend storm. So, your "swim" quickly turns into a speed workout with your second wind. :bliss:
