Do you want the tech suit back for SCY?

Chris, I am NOT saying that those who don't compete should not have a vote. I am saying that we should break it down to see if there are any trends. It is not a bad idea, but I would think you would have to be careful not to discourage non-competitors from participating in your poll (maybe THEY might think that their opinion will later be discounted). I have thought off and on about what kind of questions would be on a good poll, since possibly we might poll our LMSC if this is slated to come up at Convention. I think, in general, "less is more" in order to encourage participation in the poll. Perhaps one or all of the following questions: 1. Would you favor allowing tech suits for SCY? -- yes -- no -- no opinion either way 2. Would allowing tech suits in SCY make you: -- more likely to compete in SCY meets? -- less likely to compete in SCY meets? -- have no effect on your decision to compete? 3. Would allowing tech suits in SCY: -- increase your enjoyment of the sport? -- decrease your enjoyment of the sport? -- have no effect on your enjoyment? The first question is obvious. The second question addresses how allowing/banning the suits might affect participation (although I do worry about the effect on SCM or LCM meets if the suits were allowed in SCY). The 3rd question is aimed at people who would compete either way but who like (or dislike) having the suits in competition.
