One of countless stories I offered to write an article about for Swimmer magazine.

One year ago, I saw Sue Mocha compete (and was awed when I spoke with her at a LSC dinner in Clearwater). I also saw several others that many would think would not be there swimming at a swim meet, inspiring me almost to tears (still does). That's when and why I decided to join.
Our sport has enormous potential for benefit. Current involvement with swimming is only a beginning.
Those sorts of stories always are a double edged sword for me. On the one side - I'm inspired. If they can't do it, why can't I? On the other side, if they're doing it, why aren't I?
