I did not realize that kids were receiving prize money for winning in age group swim races. See article in our local paper www.delta-optimist.com/.../story.html .
Why did they not give me prize money when I was a kid (especially the day I won 7 first places)?

I wonder if that could come back to haunt them later? If I remember correctly, NCAA elligibility requirements include not having taken any money in exchange for performance? I could be wrong or don't remember the wording correctly though. Anyone know? :confused:
