Solutions needed for keeping pools open

We are facing potential closing or reduced hours at our Southwest pooldue to budget cuts. It is a 50 meter pool that is home to age-group swimming, masters swimmming, diving and synchro. The pool also has limited hours for the public to swim laps. We are attending the city commissioners meeting twice a month and voicing our opinions in a positive way. We are planning to come up with a plan to increase usage and revenue. Are there any other masters swimmers out there facing the same problem. We welcome any solutuions or ideas. Contact USMS, they have a program/resources for exactly this purpose.

Thank you, I just got in touch with Rob Butcher and Jim Halstead and they told me about all the resources that are available through USMS and USA swimming. Thanks, Maud Hoffman
