My understanding is that in some states DWI it is a automatic felony while in others it is not. I suppose I think that it should be but that really is beside the point:
It seems silly that you can be kicked out of swim coaching for life (based on the felony provision listed in the rules) if you get a DWI in one state but not in another state. I think the rules should the rules be more specific.
I also would add that a DWI doesn't prevent you from becoming President of the United States. But that is another story.
