Question for all the flyers. I watched a new fly video with Christine Magnuson(olympic butterfly medalist from 2008).
She and her coach Matt Kredich were discussing the difference about crashing on entry and landing on entry for fly.
I get the crashing part really well. I can't figure out how to "land" on the fly entry. While the video is really informative, they didn't discuss much how to focus on landing on entry.
Any thoughts on how to "land" vs "crash" on entry?

crocker didn't crash, he landed
faster guys seem flatter, not as much up and down
when swimmers go UP too much
They crash on the way down
Do it like these guys

It truly is a beautiful thing to watch. Graceful and powerful. I'm glad they included some top down shots, helps to see their arm and hand positions on entry.
