Question for all the flyers. I watched a new fly video with Christine Magnuson(olympic butterfly medalist from 2008).
She and her coach Matt Kredich were discussing the difference about crashing on entry and landing on entry for fly.
I get the crashing part really well. I can't figure out how to "land" on the fly entry. While the video is really informative, they didn't discuss much how to focus on landing on entry.
Any thoughts on how to "land" vs "crash" on entry?
keep your chin at the surface when you breathe? I'm not sure what they mean by "crash" but if you get your chin much above the surface then gravity is going to do its evil work.
