Thanks & congratulations!

First of all, a big THANKS to Ed Saltzman and all the volunteers for making Nationals an enjoyable, FUN experience for this newbie Masters swimmer! I had a blast over these past three days and really appreciate all the hard work that was put in by all of you to make this such a special experience. :applaud: Congratulations to GAJA!!! :applaud: And, congratulations to all of my fellow forumites who broke records and personal bests!:applaud: My glass of champagne is next to my computer and I'm now going to toast to you all! Cheers!!! :wine: The best part of my experience was meeting some of you: Ande, Allen Stark, Alison, Anna Lea, Jim, Leslie, STUD (Thanks for the laugh!) , Tracy, Speedo, and Paul. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet the rest of you! A special thanks goes out to Ande and Allen for your advice and encouragement. Allen, thanks so much for watching my races and giving me such helpful feedback! You guys are both so giving of yourselves, even to slow newbies like me! You two are a big part of why I have become "Elaine-iac". :bliss:

  • Elaine, stay in the water and keep it up. You are doing great! I'm leaving Atlanta today very happy with my times and medals and sad to see it all over. Until next time :chug: Thanks, Alison! Stay in the water??? You can't get me out- just ask my husband, when he's ready to leave after his long gym workout and I'm still in the pool. :bitching: :D Case in point: After polishing off most of a bottle of champagne, last night (I normally do not drink much or often), I was back in the pool after a night of insomnia and maybe four broken hours of sleep. I was exhausted, but I couldn't wait to get wet. And, I managed a 11/2 hr. workout before Bruce finally gave me the lets go (!) signal... Congrats. to you on having a AWESOME meet! :applaud: Have a safe trip back home!!
