I loved reading the thread on people's college experiences swimming.
I'm amazed at how many people I know (that I didn't know at the time) that have made Olympic Trials cuts or SN cuts in the past. There are a lot. Unfortunately, for me, a lot of them are in my age group!
So I thought I'd post a poll...
Has anyone over 50 ever made an Olympic Trials cut? I know Dennis Baker was very close to making the 200 fly cut in 2008, but he was only in his mid-40s. Susan von der Lippe made a couple cuts, but again, in her 40s, not 50s.
If anyone can do it it will be Dara Torres, but we'll need to wait seven more years until she's 50!
edit: OK, I think I misunderstood your poll. You're asking about our current age, not the age when we made the cut, correct? By the way, I never made one at any age.
