How different are goggles "for women/kids?"

Are goggles for women different mainly in colors? Or do they have different facial features? I don't think women's faces are overall smaller as some people seem to suggest? Goggles for kids are supposed to be smaller in every aspect? (A friend of mine can't find goggles that suit him, I wonder if I should suggest he look at these two categories ;))

I tend to buy goggles with smaller eye-pieces, not necessarily "womens" goggles - hadn't really thought about there being a difference. As for kids, I currently get my parents to bring speedo junior splasher ones from the UK for my daughter as they suit her and I haven't found the US equivalent yet! But these are MUCH smaller than mine, so probably not a good product for your friend. Do they do goggles in ages eg a "youth" size age 10-14 perhaps?

I wear kid's goggles (Hydrospex Jrs). They fit better on my narrow face. The adult ones don't seal as well and leak. The eye piece seems to have less clearance for eyelashes for the kids; sometimes my lashes do brush against the goggle. I do not buy the style that has an adjustable nosepiece as it causes too much pinching on my tear ducts, which inflames the ducts and makes me more prone to dry eye and recurrent eye infections. I also avoid neoprene gaskets as they would irritate my skin as the neoprene deteriorated/alligatored after a while. It took quite a bit of experimentation to find the goggles which worked best without causing funny side effects.
