Anyone seen this watch in action? Apparently, it can count your strokes and your laps.

I searched the forums but didn't see any threads on this watch.
(No, I'm not a dealer and no I'm not getting kick-backs.)
I've got one!
I lilke it!
I mostly use it for hour or longer swims or workouts with longer distance sets.
In a regular sprint interval-based workout I got tired pushing the buttons.
You have to choose between yards or meters calibration. I may buy another on for meters pools.
I recently got one and I like it although it missed a couple laps when I was swimming breaststroke my last time in the pool. I probably turned too quickly for it or did not hold my glide long enough. For me it does not need to be perfect, but just close so I am ok with this. It does count my freestyle and backstroke accurately everytime though. Have not yet tried it with fly but plan to this weekend.
LOL! You gotta love those Brits.
Brits, huh? To me it smacked of a made up quote written by someone without a great grasp of English. Your watch isn't shipping from the UK, is it?
I own a "Pool-Mate". It works as advertised, recording lengths, time, and strokes. You can set the pool length to any number greater than 10.
It only counts strokes of one hand, i.e., the count is only accurate for *** or fly. For free, you have to double the number and might still be one stroke off. No biggie for me, though.
What I don't like is that the "Pool-Mate" looks cheap and too feminine for my taste. Someone called it "huge". It is not; "tiny" and "flimsy" come to mind. ;)
It's worth the money, though, if you can get over the ugliness. I just hope that one day they change the design to make it look more like a current sports watch for men rather than a ladies' watch from the late 70's or early 80's.
The company is a British company so depedning on where it was purchased from it may be shipping from there. I got mine from Kast Away since they were offering it at a special price recently.
One of the testimonials on the website is from Liam who said "Superb piece of invaluable kit" so I'm convinced! :)
LOL! You gotta love those Brits. When I got my confirmation email after I placed my order, I was thanked and informed that my watch would be "dispatched" within 1 working day. At the end of the message they thanked me again by stating "Thank you very much indeed". :D Pip, pip! Cheerio!
