I had to post this clip about the Michael Phelps 12,000 cal diet. The experiment was done on a national level and a little laughter is good for recovery after a hard swim workout.

Many moons ago when I was trying to gain weight, the most I was able to eat in one day was 4000, and that was just one day, the day afterward I didn't feel like eating very much. I therefore confess that I can't swim as fast as Phelps due to my unusually small stomach which prevents me from consuming 12,000 calories a day.
