That is a good motivator. Maybe Masters teams should have similar motivators. I know adult motivation comes from within, certainly mine, but outside influences still get in the head of us "grown ups".
I think this would be good. If you don't make a certain practice times your coach thinks you should, you can't wear the team's cap in meets.
Two different animals. Its not what Master's swimming is about. When you are dealing with a certain number of college scholarships you can get away with those sort of statements.
