Masters around the World

I was wondering if it was the right forum to post this question. I guess so since I am under the impression that some members here are involved in the USMS organization. Until not long ago, I thought that the Master Swimmers Circuit, worldwide, was very healthy all around the globe in most developed countries. It doesn't seem to be the case though. Would anyone know about how well organized Master Swimmers are in the UK (GB more specifically) as well as in Croatia? If you come from a Country other than US, Canada and Australia, I'd like to hear about you too. Thanks in advance.

Funny enough, I got two clients in the UK, one in Bristol the other in Wales. Both of these guys are under the impression that they can not compete as Master Swimmers. Based on your input, they should have at least given their federation a call to see? I think they need to belong to the ASA (the British swimming association) to compete in a Masters event and this may require joining a club. If you or they post on the swimclub.co.uk website someone there is likely to know.
