Kudos to Blueseventy for honoring their rebate program and sending me my new TX. I called to verify the sizing and they assured me that the TX is the equivalent of the Nero in terms of sizing. Yep, when I looked at the chart, I'm right in the middle on all fronts. My first clue was when I took it out of the box and it looked like something a 9 year old might wear. I waited for a brave moment to try it on. I always try suits on over pantyhose, which helps them to go on easier and more quickly without leaving flakes of dry skin on the fabric, in case it has to be returned. The suit wouldn't budge.
Long story short, no way can I fit into this suit. I have worn tight suits in the past, so I know tight. Even if I did get it above my knees. I'm sure I couldn't move let alone breathe. I'd love to hear about others' experiences with the new suit. Should I keep trying or should I return it?
So how much pain did you suffer in the process? Can you compare the Nero with the TX?
I worked for 15 minutes over pantyhose and got it about 3 inches above the knees. Mind you I'm not a large person, and their upper limit for this size is 20 pounds heavier than I am. What gives?
Never had a Nero or body suit. This is my 2nd kneeskin, first was an FSII which was much easier to pull up. I think it's much stretchier in the rear. If you choose not to ask a friend to help you pull it on the first time, take it nice and slow, a little at a time on each side. Try to keep the shoulderstraps from twisting inward as you pull it up and it's easier to get on.
Good luck!
