I don't know if you wear a "cheating suit" but I think that it will be easier next year when Masters goes back to "real swimming" in yards competitions. Also, LCM swimming is more pure form of swimming due to less walls. Short Course is such an artifical form of swimming, ugh!
Bah! There's that vile word again: "pure." No, sorry, not accurate. :-P. Short course is every bit as much "swimming" as long course; it just emphasizes different elements of swimming. Last I checked, we were in pools, not OW, and thus turns and streamlines are part of "swimming."
I just hope more chicks enter Zones or I will not be getting enough rest. I feel I can only swim "purely" with adequate rest. :D
