People should do a quick double-check on their listed age at meets, though. Every now and then, meet directors will enter the age listed on your USMS card rather than your actual age.
I can check on this, but I am virtually positive that such mistakes by MDs are caught by Mary Beth during the Top Ten vetting process, by using the actual birth date. Or sometimes it is caught earlier, by the Top Ten recorder before submission to Mary Beth.
That doesn't mean the meet results won't have it wrong, but hopefully it is corrected before TT publication.
