I'm really impressed by the guy who did the 100 IM in the 35 -39 age group in 30 seconds
FYI: I'm sure people wonder how in the world Mary Beth Windrath (the person who spends so much time putting all this together) could miss such an obvious mistake. The answer is, she doesn't usually miss them at all.
But she doesn't remove such "impossible" times on the first iteration because possibly that person has a legit time from that swim (eg from backup timers) that belongs in the TT, so she tells the LMSC where the swim occurred to investigate. If she doesn't hear back from them, she will remove that swim (and use the 2nd-best time of that swimmer, of course).
So Jeff will have his #1 swim. :)
But please: if you do see other such errors, email Mary Beth (or PM me) and point it out. That's why the prelim TT are posted, to catch such errors with lots of eyes.
