Jaked

Does ANYONE know of ANY way to get hold of a Jaked suit? I just bought a FINIS one, but I also wanted to try out a Jaked. I haven't had any luck on the Internet at all...

karen, why don´t you try to contact the italian swimmers? many of them are in the forum www.mondomaster.it I just came back from the biggest indoor meet in italy, with more than 1600 swimmers from 185 clubs. these are the results: www.federnuoto.it/.../2010D30A.asp I know that many italian masters swimmers have jaked suits to sell, since they cannot use them anymore
  • Maybe clicking the "English" link will help? Good job, Skip. Maybe if they'd written it in English in the first place, Karen would have found it. Oh, yeah, and me too.

  • Hello Mr. Shark- I checked out the site, but alas, I read no Italian! Thanks anyway :agree:
  • Jim,you must wear your original B-70 until 6/1/10 as art of the ongoing science experiment. The first one finally shredded after ~95 races last September. Got a no cost replacement, from the fine company that they are, but the butt blew out during its first race, a 400IM, in October at SCM champs. They replaced it as well and I have one successful race in it so far. Think I'm going to swim most of the season's smaller meets in my B70 shortjohn and save the full for PacMasters champs and GA. :chug:

So will you be using that Jaked this coming weekend? Karen, did you get your Jaked? I finally tried mine on for the first time this weekend. Took me around 25 minutes with the help of my husband. It's much more difficult to put on than the B70 IMO. It feels strange. Never knew I could look so gross - okay, well, I knew but jeez. My husband will officially be checking me into the looney bin for being crazy enough to wrestle this plastic on. We really had some good laughs over the whole process. After struggling to get it on past the knees, he was like, "There is NO WAY you are stuffing that a$$ in there!" :lmao:I did. Oh and I did feel a wee bit ridiculous being outfitted in such a stellar suit.
  • finally tried mine on for the first time this weekend. Took me around 25 minutes with the help of my husband. I've had the thing for months and just got around to wrestling it on. Guess that makes me a sadistic purist. I actually own the suit but won't wear it. Ha! I don't know, it sure sounds to me like you have other uses planned for your suit...
  • LOL! No. I've had the thing for months and just got around to wrestling it on. Just not tapered for this meet. Guess that makes me a sadistic purist. I actually own the suit but won't wear it. Ha! Wrestle it on and try it in the pool.I hated getting my Jaked on,hated wearing it dry, hated wearing it wet more, but my goodness it felt(and was) fast in the pool.
