It's the exercise I chose for the second half of my life. A lot easier on my knees and shoulders than the running, basketball and volleyball I'd done in my younger years.
I swim because:
I am uncoordinated when it comes to land sports
I like to compete.
It keeps me healthy.
It gives me a reason to travel. I just can't see traveling some place that doesn't involve something for work or for swimming.
I want to settle unfinished business since my age group and college careers were lackluster.
I love swimming in long course and my new passion, open water.
