I just saw the great newsletter. Wow, nice information on there. I love the menu. It's nice to know there will be food there for spectators and us. One major disappointment is the t-shirt vendor, Fine Designs. They were used in Portland and my shirt fell apart within a few weeks and 3 washings. I emailed them and they refuse to let me buy a new one to replace it and told me that their shirts "never" have problems. Their customer service is horrible and their products are even worse. I'll have to think twice before I buy anything they print.
It is a good newletter. One thing missing - what is the name of the parking deck for the ALL SESSION pass? I need to find it on the campus map.
I was there in Dec driving around and I would guess it's the one across the street from the pool. Good question, though. And where are the volunteers supposed to park?
Some places here in GA DO NOT allow alcohol on Sunday period...Some allow it, like Alison said, in restaurants only...depends on the county and/or city...
Yes, thanks to our southern bible thumpers.
Friday after the last event we can go out and :chug:
No :chug: for me until I'm done with ALL of my events! I won't be ready to celebrate until I have it all behind me. Besides, we're carpooling with another swimmer and she and her husband are driving on Friday. We'll probably want to head out before the traffic, because our only Friday event goes off at 12:15. Bummer!
Most of us in the south like the option of being able to shoot our dinner on Sunday's. so if anyone of our current guns isn't working, we can run out to purchase a new one in time for supper.
Only you Wookie.... only you...
Alcohol is served in restaurants on Sunday in GA, let's be very clear about that.
Only if they serve food, though. Others have to close by 11pm on Saturday, I believe. That may have changed since I escaped the state 9 years ago.
