Latex free RX goggles

Help! I'm in search of good fitting latex free swim goggles that can be fitted with RX lenses. I thought I had found the perfect goggle for me (meaning no leaks) when I purchased View Liberator goggles and my optometrist gave the company my RX and alas, I had RX goggles so I could see. I loved them, they didn't leak, but then discovered I had a latex allergy from the goggles. I swim almost every day, and my dermatologist diagnosed me as having this allergy as exactly where the goggles touch, I always have red, inflammed, dry, crusty and itchy areas. I have to use a prednisone type cream daily, and my optometrist told me that eventually that leads to thinning of the skin. So, apparently the company does not make latex free. Do any of you have a suggestion or recommendation that would help me find similar goggles that fit, don't leak, are fog free, UV protected, and are latex free? Thanks, Sylvia

I use TYR Optical goggles. They have silicon gaskets and strap -- no latex and come in prescription strengths (kind of like drugstore reading glasses), so you don't need to go to the optometrist to fit them. They also last forever -- I used one pair almost every day for two and a half years and i only had to replace them because they became grungy. (Don't confuse them with the TYR prescription Tracer goggle, though -- I had a pair of those that only lasted about a couple of months.) Cost = $20
