    According to the article, the family name was changed from the German word for "life" (Leben?) into the English by his immigrant father. Thanks. Life started then, and is being renewed now :) At first I didn't notice the name, then it struck me as funny when I read: "Life didn't give a thought to his testosterone level..." "That changed the day Life...picked up Muscle..." :D
