FINA issued Ruled,www.usms.org/.../showpost.php
Soon the USMS rules committee will issue their ruling.
SCM & LCM seems to be a done deal, the 2010 seasons started on Jan 1, 2010 & the rule began on Jan 1, 2010.
SCY is an American thing. The 2009 - 2010 SCY season began on June 1st 2009 and ends on May 31st 2010.
Will the new suit rules take effect immediately or at the end of this season?
I've heard rumours we might be able to wear full body suits at 2010 SCY Nats.
Look forward to finding out what the USMS ruling will be for SCY.
1/15/10 FINA BUREAU CONSIDERS SWIMWEAR RULES FOR MASTERS
The FINA Bureau has considered Masters swimwear rules. The USMS Rules Committee will learn the results shortly and then will immediately reconsider the USMS swimwear rules in cooperation with the USMS Executive Committee. All USMS members will be notified of any changes to USMS swimwear rules and the effective date. Regardless of any changes to the USMS swimwear rules, the June 1, 2009 USMS swimwear interpretations will apply for the duration of the One Hour Postal Swim being conducted in January 2010.

My suit can't cover my torso, but FINA hasn't said anything about liquid glass spray:
www.physorg.com/news184310039.html
From the article:
"The liquid glass spray produces a water-resistant coating only around 100 nanometers (15-30 molecules) thick. On this nanoscale the glass is highly flexible and breathable."
"The spray cannot be seen by the naked eye, which means it could also be used to treat clothing and other materials to make them stain-resistant."
Yes they have, you can't apply substances to your body to improve your speed(which is too bad as I loved Time Off Swim Spray when it was legal.)

I'm bummed about my new Finis suit. It said to order your practice size so I got a 32. The legs went on no problem, but the hips are a nightmare! I didn't have much time, so maybe with some help and time I can get it on?
Anyone else think the suit runs tight (my B70 is a 28).
I have the Yingfa and my B70 to fall back on.

I've never tried a Finis. But every other tech suit (B70, LZR, Jaked, Pro) has been a nightmare to get over the hips when it's new. :afraid: The first time is the worst; budget 20-30 minutes. It'll stretch out fast after a meet or so.
I do not play golf, and only watch it when I need help falling asleep. But this situation reminds me a little of the whole tech suit thing:

To all of you who are considering legal action against me for calling them "cheatin' suits:" I offer you my heartfelt apology. :)
What puzzles me is that retailers are still trying to get 50% for full body suits. Their only potential customers are competitive masters swimmers who don't already have tech suits to last them through May. What are they going to do with unsold suits after June 1?
I finally got it on today. It took 5-10 min. I guess I stretched the crap out of it yesterday trying! Yesterday, I couldn't get my tooshie in, it was a "muffin top" stickin' out the back :lmao: literally.
Today was much easier. The hips were still tough, but now that my tummy is gone, it went on fine after that. Zipping was easy too. And as far as the "girls" go, I have plenty of room on top, which is a pleasant surprise. :bliss:
The girls don't like the B70!
