  • So, as swimmers it is incumbent upon us after we regress the sport to the 70s to also follow the lead of people who throw sticks. What's next, letting the International Tree Climbing Federation dictate our sporting rules? Only FINA could come up with something that stupid, right along with allowing speed suits until June for fear of sun spots and jelly fish attacks. In my sad eulogy to the fun suit era I ordered a flippin' Aquablade jammer today. Woo hoo, that's progress, 80s style. So I guess all that's left is to wait for the river of tears to run dry. Apparently that is going to take awhile longer. :)
