Drag suit. They are comfortable and inexpensive! I even like the ones with the "wild" patterns and colors (Dolphin). The wife says I wear them to try and draw attention to myself.:afraid:
Currently I am just using a Speedo Endurance jammer, but that's because that's all I have at the moment. I had a Kiefer drag suit which I loaned to my son and didn't get back. I have noticed with the drag suit that it definitely tends to change my relationship to the water. (I don't know how to explain it, but it's more than simply increasing resistance I think.)

I wear a Speedo polymesh drag suit. I like the slight added resistance, although there is a school of thought that less resistance (brief, jammer, tech suit) provides a better feel for race-pace speed. I hear that, but I'd rather wear a drag suit, especially early in the season.
I wear a Speedo polymesh square leg drag suit. There's a little added drag, but the primary reason I wear them is that they last a long time, even in the high chlorine pool I swim in.
Whatever is cheapest to buy at the time, and then whatever is dry.
Water polo briefs tend to be most inexpensive and unbelievably durable (agonswim plug), but I've found some jammers on sale so I go with them as well ... though they don't last as long (my experience).
The most hideous looking breif I can find for less than $10, then a TYR polymesh trainer.
Why the hideous suit? Because my wife hates them, and she thinks I look funny. But no one sees it anyway, and usually they are cheaper.
