I train in briefs and hate the feel of jammers, but what should I race in? I'm deciding on my race suit for the new year. Why are jammers better? Compression, muscle vibration, drag??

I could definitely feel a difference after putting on a pair of jammers, just walking around. My step felt "springier" (for lack of a better word) and it wasn't just my imagination.
Perhaps that comes from not having 2 pieces of elastic wrapped around either side of your perineum?
