I finally found a pair of goggles that fit me. They usually do not fill up on starts and they fit my face. However my wife has pointed out that they are creating a scar across the bridge of my nose. Any advice?

I have pulled down a few backstroke flags with my "rudder" and have long used a razor or exacto knife to bevel to 90º edge on the moulded bridges for those googles so equipped. The Compy's I favoured in college came pre beveled.
An option is to use part of the headband for the bridge, swedish style, but you will have to periodically snug it down.
