but I would like to see your response if they tried to make dolphin kicks for backstroke illegal :)
(which one can make a pretty good argument for .. it has nothing to do with actually swimming backstroke)
The only rule for backstroke is that you have to be on your back. How is flutter kick inherently more backstroke-like than any other type of kick? It isn't, except in the minds of the "dolphin-deficient."
Work on your dolphin kick some more, your wife will thank you... :D
