Tech Suit you were so good to me. You helped me keep it together when I was falling apart (at the end of my races) Despite the rips & wardrobe malfunctions we had some pretty good times together and it's sad to think you're really gonna split. I hope the powers that be won't take you from me, but if they do, I'll miss you and the slick floaty feeling you gave me when we swam together as one.
I swam fast in mine, and I really enjoyed doing that. I especially enjoyed the fact that the suit made me swim like I was shaved and tapered at EVERY meet. It was fun. Also, they did look kinda cool.
But I'm still happy to seem them go. I never fully embraced mine (I only wore it about half the time) and I enjoy seeing how fast I *really* am. The suits are like those "big bertha" drivers golfers use. They make you better but they hide your flaws. (Sadly, for masters, our "flaws" include excess body weight and body hair.)
I understand why folks lament their passing. Hopefully swimming can be fun even without them. I certainly don't see why that can't be true.
I chuckled when I saw this thread. Then it hit me this morning:
I swim the 50
blew the stupid turn again
so much for the suit
So I won't miss them. It's back to just swimming again.
Best of luck and times to those going to nationals! Give those suits a good sendoff, for those who are using them.

It will be so great that I will only see these suits at Open Water events, come June 1.
World Records weren't meant to be broken every weekend. Or, three times within a 5 minute period.
hard to believe it's less than a month away, till we say farewell to fullbody suits. Would anyone like to say anything?
