I have multiple screens for my computer at work, so I watched this today (missed yesterday) on one screen while programming on the other.
Ho hum... another swim meet with tech suits, another batch of WR's.
Phelps got 2nd.
The woman who won the 100 backstroke (Sakai from Japan) had a pair of goggles that were way cool. They looked like something from a Transformers movie.

I still don't see how FINA reconciles the new speed-enhancing starting blocks (particularly for sprints) with their ban on the speed-enhancing tech suits.
Supposedly, they will only help the athlete for a short term. Regardless of the distance, if a swimmer breaks a record by 2 tenths or less, is it the athlete or the new starting block...
