check out the american swimming association's website. i think they run about a dozen events each year!

Thanks, I will check it out. My first 2K down Lady Bird Lake (really a slow river)was with ASA. This is a can do - only 1.5 hours away - and my daughter is attending UT, so I'll have at least one fan! :fish2:
