Hi All-
So, have identified that I will compete in FY2010 and practice is going well. But, I don't know all the new flipturns or starts. So much has changed since I last swam:confused: At any rate, some of my team mates are willing to work with me, but was wondering if there is any resource that outlines the new starts and turns? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Videos are great, but I'm a big fan of one-on-one. I'd be more prone to find a coach willing to spare me a few minutes before/after practice, or a fellow swimmer who is willing to spare a few pointers. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery for sure, but imitating video only goes so far. Water is a full 360 degree experience, as well all know and love...and I've seen people who think they're swimming straight only to witness them zig-zagging around the lane lines like an angry bee. Videos would be a good starting point, but absolutely nothing can take the place of a good 20-30 minute session with someone who can watch you and offer advice on corrections you can make as you're practicing.
