A lot of the Russian men don't wear caps. Do they know something we don't?

If you figured out why elite Russians have not been wearing a cap when competing at international championships, could you share?
In that forum thread, they're mostly wondering why swimmers from other countries wear caps :). As I said above, it's a culture thing. And the fact that most pools are indoors, which means they don't get the 'chill your brain out' effect when swimming sans a cap outdoors in cold weather.
