When in doubt check google. A google search for 'плавание без шапочки' (swimming without cap) turns up a discussion (in Russian) on the subject, translated here. (Russian lesson: Шапочка is a feminine noun that means 'cap', and the preposition без (without) takes genitive case so it's без шапочки.)
