About to go to Riviera Maya, Mexico (Valentin Imperial) and was wondering if anyone has swam down there, and if there are better places to swim than others.
Already planning to snorkel at Dzu Ha (?) and Akumel, but looking for daily ocean swims or actually lap pools (swim up bars ok as long as it is deep enough for 6'4" arms and flipturns.)
Also, seriously debating whether bringing my monofin is worth it. It's so bulky for luggage. Then again,m when else am i gonna use it? Any comment on this would be welcome.
