I've some type of sensitive skin or whatever. After a two-hours workout my feet & hands are so dehydrated that look like "deflated", my face look dull and the skin is dryed and flaky. The body skin is simply dryed, not a big deal ,except the front lower leg and thoracic where often there're zone of flaky/hitchy skin. I currently go 3x/week, I've not found still a definitive solution to reduce as possible the problem if possible at all. I've for sure over average trouble skin condition but you that go 6+/week have you any sort of fish-like skin or some skin trouble is present and what do you do to reduce/fix it ? regards.

  • I echo the above loofah to scrub off chlorine and any icky skin. I prefer shower gel to soap since it seems to leave less residue but that could be all in my head. I towel off lightly the second I get out of the shower and immediately put on lotion while my skin is still damp- heavy duty cream in the winter, lotion-y stuff in the summer. I've historically had dry and generally ill-behaved all my life and this routine works for me. If things are as bad as you say, maybe a trip to a dermatologist might be in order. If it's that dry and flaky you could have a condition like an allergy or infection of some kind.
