I am getting over the flu (gastroenteritis). This is my third day. My appetite is not 100% yet, and I still have a slight headache, but I am night and day better than Monday (Day 1).
Anyway, there is a timed 5K and 10K swim this Saturday that I can swim, but I am not sure that's the best thing to do right now. My last workout was 4 days ago. I will take today off and maybe workout tomorrow.

Do you really have the flu? Can you get a prescription for Tamiflu or something similar?
Real life sucks, but there is a good chance you will be ready to swim in nine days, but not at the top of your form.
